Hair loss on period?

Hey all,

I’m 20 & on the pill and I just got my period yesterday. I had awful cramps, which is not necessarily uncommon for me, but I noticed that I shedded a LOT of hair- more than normal for me. Now, it didn’t come out in clumps or anything, but more hair just accumulated on my hair brush than normal, for instance. Has anybody else dealt with this before/lost more hair than normal when menstruating?
