So yesterday my mother in law called me (usually calls when she needs something).

I didn’t answered immediately I was cleaning kitchen and my phone was on silent.

I called her like 5 minutes later and this is how conversation went:

Me:hello (name)

Mil: hey why you didn’t answer when I called

Me: I was cleaning so didn’t hear phone

Mil: yeah you are cleaning every day.But why you didn’t answer when I called?

Me(confused): I couldn’t answer phone wasn’t with me I was cleaning because we are expecting guests later

Mil:who is coming?

Me(told her who is coming)

Mil:is (her son-my husband) got back home from road/work

Me:yeah he is he just got home(after 6 days)

Mil:well leaf fall out and just siting on front yard so you and him should come to pick it up and you can leave kids with me while you are doing it

Me:okay well he can do it with lawn mover but later maybe tomorrow we can’t do it today

Mil:but wind didn’t blow all it out it just on front yard and it is thick so it will not be manageable to do it with lawn mover.

Me:okay but like I said we can’t do it today

Mil:but wind

Me:I understand but we are having guests so we can’t to it today(and he literally came home after waking up early to drive home)

Mil:well okay I was just saying what will be easier for you.okay then bye

Me:bye
