TMI: diaper rash. Is it possible for toddlers to get an eczema flare up on their bottom or private are? My toddler has this rash and has had it for 3ish days now. He is lactose intolerant and gets rashes if he’s had anything with lactose, but this doesn’t look like his regular lactose rashes. His lactose rashes are always raw and shiny as well as blistery and sometimes bleeds and causes him a lot of pain. With this one, he doesn’t seem to be in pain at all like it’s not hurting him and it’s very dry and flaky. He has eczema flare ups when the weather gets cold so I’m not sure if it could be that or something else. What do y’all think? I’ve been applying buttpaste and baby powder 3x a day but still not improving so I’m gonna be taking him to the doctor some time this week whenever his pediatrician can fit him in for a walk in appointment.
