Finding out baby’s gender at birth?

Anyone else waiting to find out babies gender at birth? My grandmother suggested this with my first child 13 years ago but I was too anxious to wait but now that I have a daughter and two sons I thought this would be exciting. Share your thoughts

This is my fourth and last baby and we are waiting until birth. I work labor and delivery and these are always the sweetest deliveries.

This is my third baby and we didn't find out with our first 2, and it was the most amazing surprise. Definitely not going to find out this time. I highly recommend not finding out. Not many surprises in life, and the moment they hand you your new baby and you see for yourself what you've had is one of the greatest, most surreal, amazing things ever.

We kept it a surprise the first two times, and we're doing it again!
It's a truly wonderful surprise, totally prevents gender disappointment (who can be disappointed looking at their sweet little baby?), and babies don't need gender-specific stuff.

We’re waiting! This will be our third and probably last baby and we have two boys! We waited for both pregnancies so far and it was the best surprise!! There is something about that moment when they say it’s a BOY or it’s a GIRL! I’ve never had a gender reveal or shower and don’t get caught up in all that stuff… Just as long as my baby is here and healthy that’s all that matters! I say wait if you can!!!!!!

I could never do it but I respect that choice! I have to be able to plan as far as what clothes to buy etc.

Yup, we are team green! We did it with our last and it was honestly so exciting. Not only did we get to announce the arrival and name of our baby to everyone but also the sex! I hope to do it with all my babies if able!

I did with my second child. I think because it was right in the middle of peak pandemic I wanted something fun to look forward too. As well because baby was close in age with first I wasn't worried about opposite sex from first (which is what happened ☺️) As nursery was already set up I just threw in a few pink thinks here and there to girlify it. Pregnant with third now and plan on waiting again. It depends on will power a bit as it could get tempting to find out when you get all your ultrasounds with doctor. But definitely worth waiting to have that surprise moment in the end.

I have a daughter and a son who are 20 and 15..I found out for both of them. This time around, I was thinking of waiting..but I’m still not 100% sure:)

We've done it with all of ours. This will hopefully be baby 5. So far we have 4 girls 😆 But we are happy with another happy baby regardless. It's so much fun to wait.

I was just logging on to ask this same question! We didn’t find out with our first (my choice) and did with our second ( my husband’s choice) - he agreed it was more fun not knowing so we’re waiting this time too. 
I just left my blood draw for the NIPT and was told not to open the report when it posts because there is no way to remove the gender!??? I have to call the office to get my results, which is fine, but never dealt with this with my last two NIPT results.  Anyone else dealing with this? Seems like such a strange policy and had me wondering if I’m the only person wanting to wait.
