Yes, really. Not necessarily because of kids bullying (I believe kids will always find something regardless of what you’re called) but for the majority of people, because it’s such an unusual name, people have no other association with it other than iPhones. Spelling it with a C is better, but when you say it out loud it’s still a bit of a ‘huh?’ moment

Just curious if you say no to siiri because of the iphone? We've also thought of spelling it ciiri so it's a clear difference. It's a very old Welsh name I believe.

So if your worried about Siiri being easy to bully I would worry about winter. Take it from a girl named April. She will get tired of the joke we’re you born in April and couldn’t your mom come up with a name. I love my name and the reason but just throwing that out there.

I love Iris, and I like both Kaiya and Eve.To me Noel looks like the boy name Noel that rhymes with Joel, rather than Noelle, which I assume is how you’re saying it.I do think that a kid named Siiri would get sick of jokey comments about ordering her around all the time. Personally I think it could be frustrating enough for her that I’d rule that one out. I actually really like Gwendolyn too… sorry I forget the spelling you used.
