TTC dealing w/ depression and frustration

So my husband and I have been ttc for a while now. I was diagnosed w PCOS years ago, but a couple months ago I had emergency surgery to remove a large benign tumor on my left ovary. They ended up having to remove the whole ovary and the fallopian tube. Doctor said I'm all clear and fertile so we've been trying. My periods are finally leveling out so far. Any suggestions from anyone abt tips or tricks on what to do to improve my chances? I've never been pregnant before, and I'm not that young so anything I can do to help pls let me know.
