Can having a long or sometimes irregular cycle affect getting pregnant?
Can having a long and sometimes irregular cycle affect getting pregnant? I’m 21 years old, currently have had 2 pregnancies (1 successful 2.5 years ago and 1 miscarriage 6 months ago) my period has always been pretty regular most of my life and my cycle was always about 27-29 days long. Well now my cycle will be regular for maybe 2 months then I’ll have very long cycles for a couple months, like anywhere between 38-53 days long and I don’t know why. Just this go around I had a 52 day long cycle, didn’t even get a period in October at all so I’m guessing I didn’t ovulate either. My last period was in September and I just finally started my period yesterday. I’m not sure what’s causing me to suddenly be so irregular. I was on the Mirena IUD for 13 months which is the longest I’ve ever been on birth control before and my cycle just hasn’t been the same since getting it removed. I had my miscarriage 1 or 2 months after I had the IUD removed so I’m starting to fear that it’s given me some fertility problems that I’m not aware of yet or something😅 my only child is starting to get older and I don’t want my kids having big age gaps, I know I for sure want more children just don’t know when and I’m starting to get worried that it may be difficult to get pregnant or have another successful pregnancy.
