How do I get a car with no credit?

18 years old and need a car asap for work but I have no credit whatsoever. How can I get a car?

What they said or a used car private sale. Have a mechanic check the car. Pay him if he’s not a friend to go with you and check out the car. Ask him how much he would charge.

You could get a used car on Facebook marketplace or Facebook auto sale groups. In the mean time, you could get a secured credit card through a bank such as fifth third, and it will slowly but surely build your credit if you don’t go over like 20% of it and pay it back on time. It works similar to a debit card.

I work for finance company that works with people who don’t have credit. It all depends on what you can and can’t afford. I personally always recommend cash cars but that’s just not feasible for some people. Autonation works with my job, but honestly any dealer can typically work with no credit. My first car that I financed, I didn’t have any credit. The % wasn’t bad either, like 5%. You just have to look around. Again, I had 0 credit
