Is it just me? Tell me it gets easier and better

I’m a first time mom and I have a 10week old daughter who would rather sleep on us at night then her bassinet! During day naps she will sleep in her swing but once it’s bedtime she wants to sleep on us smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ what should I do need some advice please

It’s not just you! Newborns are hardwired to seek connection with their caregiver—comfort, safety, security. They say humans are born developmentally very premature compared to other mammals (think about ones who know how to walk at birth already). 
You can try (if you aren’t already), swaddling (although she’s about to grow out of a swaddle kind of soon), pacifier, white noise, sleep with her bassinet sheets before you put them on so they smell like you, something warm on the bassinet mattress then take it away when you lay her down so it’s nice and warm. When you lay her down, try taking her from cradle position in your arms then laying her on her side first, then slowly turning her to her back. You are not alone!
