My baby is almost 6wks old. He was past birth weight at his two week appt. Doesn’t go back until he’s 2 months old. I was told to wake him every 2-3hrs to nurse (if he wasn’t asking for it). Do I still need to do that during the day?? At night I follow his lead (ranges from every 1.5hrs to 3.5hrs, once in awhile 4hrs initial stretch). I’m worried about my supply dropping if I don’t feed him a lot but I also know he prob doesn’t “have” to eat every 2hrs(typically he wants to but at times he’s so asleep I feel awful waking him, he eats then goes back to sleep anyway)
