I currently have the mirena and it’s been 2 years this month since I had it. A few months ago I started having some symptoms that I weren’t use to so I went to my OB and she did an ultrasound and turns out my mirena moved out of place a little so in December I’ll be getting it replaced. Prior to me getting the mirena after giving birth, my cycle was 4 days max and the bleeding was manageable as well as the pain, since having my son and getting the mirena, my cycle has become treacherous. I bleed heavily for 6 days and the last few months my cycle would come closer and closer together. MY QUESTION IS: has anyone who’s gotten their mirena replaced seen a difference in their cycle, and was it for the better or worse?
