Endometriosis?
I have insane cramps. Like crazy. I’ve done a ton of research and I’m convinced I have endometriosis. My periods before I got on birth control were 18 days long with 7 days in between each 18 day long period. My cramps are like unreal and so on yadda yadda. Along with my extensive research I learned that endometriosis is a pain to get diagnosed with and that it takes on average 7-8 years to get a diagnosis. Mainly because of doctors, because “cramps are normal”. I’ve started logging all of my cramps I have in a day. I’ve started 6days ago and I already have a pretty long list. I have like 5 separate cramps a day every day I’ve found out. Im logging them with record of the date, time, pain rating out of 10, and a brief description of what the cramp felt like and where it was at. Just so doctors know the extent of my cramps and how bad they really are. I’m currently having a gnarly cramp right now that’s lasted almost 40 minutes at a solid 5-10 on the pain scale. I’m just wondering if I should be doing anything more to really show that these aren’t normal cramps and that this is something that can’t be ignored by my doctor again.
