First off, I’m not “judging” anyone lol, I literally don’t care what anyone else does with their life, but it seems so rare these days to see women that appreciate a masculine alpha male in a relationship and I honestly am curious how alone I am in desiring that kind of man in my life. I’ve been married close to a decade now, met my husband very young, we have two small children, and he’s “the boss” all the way around- and I LOVE IT. He treats me like I’m a precious treasure to be protected, loved, and taken care of, and I appreciate the heck outta my man. I’m a stay at home mom and we have a fairly traditional gender roles based marriage but I’m so extremely happy this way and so is he. I honestly don’t have any issues yielding to his decisions, and he encourages me to express my feelings/opinions as well as takes my view into account any time he does make a choice. I feel very “equal” in our relationship. I think it’s just weird because some of my ex-friends (3 to be exact, and this was the reason we parted ways) hated him when we first got married and continually tried to break me away from him because I was “setting women back thousands of years 🙄 “ by being with a man who “controlled me”. And I don’t find him controlling at all, he’s very respectful of me, and extremely loving. He’s also a wonderful father, and a beast in bed. I absolutely love my life and my hubby but it’s weird seeing that so few women seem to feel the same way. Anyone else out there or am I totally weird?!
