Can I use hairspray on my toddler?

My toddler has extremely curly hair and I use curl cream but even that isn’t enough to keep it from getting super frizzy and looking messy all the time. Can I occasionally use hairspray when styling?

You can, just keep in mind that hairspray when used with pulling hair up on a regular basis, can cause hair breakage. ￼

In the end, you will decide what’s best but I would not. Sorry for the long reply:
 I have very curly hair and I never used any of the products on my daughter who also has curly hair (she’s 4 now) until I switched to non harmful products. Most curly products have products that are proven harmful such  as phenoxyethanol, allergens, endocrine disruptors, etc.
I switched everything to “clean” products and use them for my daughter as well. 
I would recommend using the free “Yuka” app to scan your beauty products: it will let you know if there are any harmful ingredient.
