My best friend lives at home with her wealthy family. She is almost 33 and works full time but has never lived independently. Her family pays for most things. However she constantly complains about them. She is in therapy and told me the therapist told her that her mother is a narcissist. (I don’t know if that’s actually true). She sends me texts complaining about her mother EVERY DAY. Like stuff as simple as “she moved my water bottle off the counter that bitch!!” I’m always like “honey it’s time to move out” but like, she just won’t. I’m at my wit’s end. How do I tell her she either moves out or she stops with the constant complaints about her family? My husband legit thinks SHE’S the narcissist just taking advantage of their money. But I hate to think that about my best friend. 🫠
