My son will be 5 in a few weeks and I just had a baby 8 weeks ago. The last few weeks my older son has decided he doesn't want to do anything without help and refuses to sleep in his room( I've managed to get him to fall asleep in his room a few times but he always wakes up and moves to my room) he also doesn't want to take showers by himself anymore or get himself dressed or even go to his room to play by himself. This is all stuff he was doing fine by himself until about three or four weeks ago.

I know its a big change not being the only child and I've been trying to keep our routines the same and include him when I'm feeding or bathing the new baby but he's just getting worse. He forces himself to stay up way past his bedtime and has started screaming when he doesn't get his way.

I'm sure this is pretty normal but is there something I can do? I tried to make his room more fun for him to sleep in by making a tent out of sheets and added some extra nightlights and it helped a little but he still throws a fit at bed time and won't sleep through the night anymore.
