Suggestions please!

So my boyfriend & I are TTC after I heal from my surgery 😬 Butttttttt he is diabetic & all of my baby making equipment is 100% perfect (found that out during my unnecessary surgery 3 days ago 🙄🙃.) other than being PCOS due to my uterus not shedding on its own so I am currently on the birth control patch until my post op appointment. Actually, I skipped it this cycle an Ovulated for the first time! So I will be testing if my period does not come within the next week, but I also think surgery will delay it, although they opened me up & stitched me back up after seeing that the “cyst” they seen was not in fact a “dermoid cyst” just hard unharmful tissue in my left ovary.

Anyways, he’s diabetic and RH- blood type as I’m O+ which I hear a lot that it is much harder for us to conceive due to our blood types (not by professionals.)

Soooooo, is there any supplement that could boost his half of the conceiving process and has anybody had experiences with the blood type situation? Please please tell me your thoughts & opinions. Or even experiences. I love hearing all stories & I’m also sending baby dust to all the ladies TTC 🤞🏻

Thank you in advance!

⚠️ if I don’t make sense I’m so sorry 🤣 feel free to ask questions!

Well regulated diabetes is the best thing for fertility, if this is a problem right now working with a dietitian or doctor could be helpful. There can be some problems with sperm motility or quantity with diabetes so might be worth testing down the road if you are having trouble conceiving. PCOS also adds an extra layer of difficulty to conceiving, I would encourage talking with your doctor about that now if you have not already. Many people with PCOS are able to get pregnant, but sometimes additional medications are needed.
