Would you let a doctor make you have a c-section after shoulder dysplasia?

I've had two births so far, and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my third daughter. My first measured small on ultrasound and they induced me a week early (she measured 4lbs, ended up being 6.8lbs) my second was measuring fine and was 7lbs. They say looking back at the birth notes that my second had shoulder dysplasia. She didn't have any issues after birth (like a broken bone or neuro effects, nothing that is a risk from the shoulders taking longer to deliver after the head)

Now my doctor says I should be prepared for a c-section, a thing I've always been against unless I become unconscious while pushing or my baby is going to absolutely die without being cut out.

Would you keep fighting for a vaginal birth? Do I have any ground to use against my doctor to NOT have a scheduled c-section?
