I'll preface, I know tons of people that have done the ERA and been successful in subsequent cycles. For some people they are the magic key. I personally do not believe in doing them until you've had failed implantations but don't knock it either. 
For me, I do not believe in the efficacy of it. I do believe in the biopsy for endometriosis and endometritis which can both negatively impact the uterine environment and impede success. I don't believe in the timing and the reason I don't I because of the studies that have been completed after making the changes. Those studies state that ~85% of those who have completed the testing and made the necessary changes have gone into another ERA test cycle and then been determined to be either pre or post receptive (again.... even though they just had it done in the previous cycle). 
Again, though, if you've exhausted options and ruled out a hostile environment and autoimmune, receptivity could be what gives you success.
