I am resilient 🥰 after a failed FET in September we are now on cycle day 3 and day 1 of meds for our retrieval and hopefully fresh transfer!!! This is my second retrieval. The 1st retrieval was in October 2020 and started with 7 follicles that gave us 7 mature eggs, 4 fertilized naturally and 3 made it to day 5, we transferred 1 of those embryos and my son is just as beautiful as the embryologist thought his embryo was. We froze the other 2 and tried transferring them this past september. Unfortunately they did not stick. So here I am at 39 years old ready to start jabbing myself again to hopefully create another amazing baby. So far we have 11 follicles on the day 3 scan..... Here is my dilemma and I would appreciate any input. My Dr wants us to decide and pay upfront for freezing embryos.... It's our only out of pocket other the meds (thank goodness my job chose amazing insurance). I just don't know if we should just go with the fresh transfer and see what happens or go ahead and freeze any others we get too?
