Does this sound like covid?

My husband got really sick last Monday, and then on Thursday I came down with it along with our 2 kids. Symptoms at the time were just fever, headache, and body aches. Then came the stuffy noses/cough a day or two shortly after. So I assumed maybe the flu, especially since its been going around my husband's work and it started with him. Yesterday I noticed I can't smell anything, and my taste is also a little off which I know is a big sign to covid but I've looked into it more and it could be from my sinus being inflamed which I'm sure they definitely are. My husband is bringing a covid test for me. Just wanted to know if this sounds like covid or something else?

I had the same signs as you when I had covid as of now I have sore throat cold and cough (taken test negative) I feel a lot worse now then when I had covid after a couple of days I felt better.

Could be either. My husband and I both had the flu and both had covid in the same month (it sucked), but covid was WAY worse for me and I almost got hospitalized, but the flu was WAY worse for him where he could barely get out of bed. Otherwise the symptoms were pretty similar for both illnesses

Could be either or RSV, I’ve even seen people with fevers with just a common cold this season.

I had Covid and it was nothing for me. I only had stuffy nose and a slight headache. I lost my tastebuds but a few days later they came back. My son was fine and my husband had the worse symptoms.

It could go either way. Covid I felt like pure death. The flu is a lot easier to handle. With Covid I had a fever of over 102 (as did my toddler). I was exhausted. Coughing. Congested. Just extremely sick. The flu I tend to just get body aches with a runny nose/congestion and maybe a low grade fever.
