Ovulation testing

I know the app isn’t 100% accurate but it says I’m in my fertile window and supposed to ovulate Saturday. Last cycle I used clearblue and the ovulation tests surged on oct 30/31. I got my period on Nov 12. Should the lines be getting darker as I approach my surge? I really don’t wanna miss it.
