April mommys with anterior placenta .. did u feel baby move yet???

I have an anterior placenta also. I am almost 21 weeks and still haven’t felt any movements! I go for my anatomy scan today so we’ll see how baby is doing and if this really is normal for people like us.

My placenta is at the top at the front. I started to feel the baby move around 1 ago maybe 2 and only in the past few days I’ve been feeling more regular pronounced movements. 20+5 today

Also have an anterior placenta with my first pregnancy and haven’t felt much either. Sometimes I feel like something is swimming inside me but it’s been very faint. Got my anatomy scan yesterday and baby was super active, I guess it’s just too early to feel any of it really.

I'm also anterior,  but I feel.more movement  inside than I do outside. I get the odd movement on the outside.

It honestly depends on where the placenta is exactly. If it's anterior but more towards the top of the uterus, you'll still feel baby from inside and outside just fine (Mines anterior but more at the top) but if it's anterior and at the front of the uterus (against your belly) baby's movements will be less distinguished, even late in the pregnancy.
