Anyone else have a planned C section?

Got a date for my planned C section happening next week! 🫣😬 it’s my second bub - my first ended in an emergency C section after complications. This time around I’ve had GD from the beginning of pregnancy and Dr (and I!) didn’t want to risk a repeat of what happened the first time. 
Feeling excited for baby to be here already / super nervous and anxious at the same time about the procedure. Dr reassured me it’s super calm and nothing to compare to an emergency c. 
Anyone else got a planned c scheduled soon?
UPDATE: Baby girl was safely born on dec 1st. Planned c section went rlly well and was super calm and organized - no stress. Brought baby home 4 days later, best Christmas present ever.

I’m scheduled for a repeat c-section on Tuesday the 29th…. 3rd baby but 2nd scheduled c-section. 
I can definitely say that having it scheduled is such a weird experience in a good way.  It felt weird to me that I was walking into the hospital to have a baby when I had zero contractions or leaking fluid (I had gone to the hospital after my water broke with my first baby). The nurses were very relaxed and explained everything that was going to happen and walked me through everything. It all felt very routine.

Yes, Dec 13th. However, if she comes on her own before then, I’ll attempt a VBAC.

I have my first planned c section on Dec 1, unless she comes sooner. My other two kids were emergency c sections at 38w, which would be this weekend if she sticks to their schedule. We shall see…

I had an unexpected (not emergency) C-section with my 1st, planned csection with my 2nd and I'm having a planned csection with my 3rd Dec 14th. I can tell you it is 100% nothing like an emergency C-section. My second C-section was so so much more chill and a way better experience. I'm terrified for my 3rd because the risks once you have 3 or more go up but hopefully it'll be just like my 2nd!

My planned c-section is December 7th, my due date was Christmas. I have placenta previa (my placenta is covering my cervix) so I have to have a c-section.
