Measuring further along??

Today I got my belly measured for the first time while also doing my glucose test. I’m 28 weeks on Friday and according to the doctor, I’m measuring at 29 weeks. For the mommas on here, did this happen and then still able to have a regular vaginal delivery? This is my first baby and c-sections honestly terrify me. And I know growth varies from week to week, so is it something that’ll effect birth weight?

Measuring the final height or belly is not very accurate.  It is completely normal to measure a couple weeks ahead/behind by those measurements. I wouldn’t worry about it!

Only one week ahead is nothing, this won’t cause you to get a c section or anything! Happens all the time. These belly measurings aren’t super accurate, best accuracy is an ultrasound. I was always measuring 3-4 weeks ahead and had a vaginal delivery. C section was never discussed

With my first child I was terrified about have a c-section and did everything in my power not to have one. Long story short, I ended having one and I can honestly say from one terrified mother to another, that it isn't as bad as you may think. That being said... I hope you get the birth you are hoping for 💕

One week ahead isn’t anything to worry about. I measured 3 weeks ahead when I had my son on his due date. He wasn’t tiny but it was a normal delivery. I have also found that I’ve heard one week ahead one all and then the next right on. I think it can come down to how the baby I positioned that appt.

They told me my 1st was a ten pound baby.. he was born 8 pound 3 and that was from scans! Measuring a bump is just silly, pay no attention
