Is it weird

My husband and i met a couple from a different country. They are new to America. My husband wont be around for thanksgiving. I want to invite the woman over for thanksgiving lunch. I know they don’t celebrate it. I wish both can come but i feel its going to be awkward since my husband isn’t here to entertain the guy. Should i just leave her alone?
