Question

My son is going through the phase where he HATES getting his cloths on and off.
It's a nightmare every morning and night.
Is anyone else going through this?

Answer

My daughter hated putting any clothes on until we just let her wear whatever she wants. If we are just having a day at home then she can wear anything, if we are going out then we give her options.
She’s 2, doesn’t matter if her clothes go, just matters that she’s warm and happy in why she’s wearing.
We do get some funny looks some times but usually people say how they love her princess dress or the tutu she’s chosen.
Also her nursery have been really understanding. If she wears something like a tutu, they let her wear it for a while and then she’s more then happy to take it off.
We’ve spoken about next year she will have to wear a uniform and they’ve told us that she will get hers early so that she can get used to it and get excited to wear it.

For us it’s the putting house shoes on at kindergarten. Just in general getting dressed. He runs off and I have to call him back a million times until we are fully dressed. It’s almost a workout 😵‍💫🥲
