my first ultrasound at 4w4d there was the start of a yolk sac. We went back at 5w5d and the gestational and yolk sac were both bigger but still no fetal pole. Went back again at 6w3d, gestational and yolk sac were still growing with a “possible” fetal pole measuring at 5w5d but no heartbeat yet. We go back in 8 days for another one. This will be my fourth pregnancy and I’ve never went in earlier than 8 weeks but they wanted to make sure it was an IUP due to the amount of cramping I was having. Is this all normal and just still too early?
