Breastfeeding
On November 20, our beautiful bundle of baby girl came into our lives, rather quickly and unexpected. Because of how quickly she came, and the nature of her arrival, we were brought to the hospital, due to 4th degree tearing. I explained in the hospital, that I wanted to strictly breastfeed,
{As with our first we were told “fed is best” and put him on a bottle too quickly, and he had a slight upper lip tie - and therefore refused to latch - and I wasn’t able to breastfeed at all}
BUT they gave us formula to supplement- as I had hardly any output. After my milk “came in” the other day, I have had next to ZERO supply, and again, am having trouble latching to the full boob, over just the nipple. I feel like an absolute failure, because I desperately want to share this with our daughter, but I don’t know how to increase my supply!
Any tips on how to increase supply, or correct a latch?
