I just typed this all out and then the app crashed so details might be missing because I have to re do it now 😭

My wedding is in 2 months and literally NONE of my bridesmaids have bought their dresses 😭 I’ve been nothing but kind and understanding about the whole situation but last night resulted in a huge fight with my SIL

Everyone keeps putting off buying their dress and saying they’ll buy it during their next pay check and then they never do and we’ve been getting the run around for MONTHS now….. we aren’t even hounding anyone about it!! We are being super respectful of their time and budget and just asked every maybe… 3 weeks? For an update

My fiancés 2 sister keep their mail and any important things at his parents house.. so while we were over last night for thanksgiving my fiancé asked his sisters if they bought their dresses… mostly because we wanted to see them if they were there

They both said no and I JOKINGLY said that any bridesmaids that don’t buy their dresses have to wear a bright red T-shirt that says “I didn’t buy my dress in time”… his younger sister thought it was hilarious but his older sister got PISSED

she goes “well none of my bridesmaids bought their dresses right away!” (Which isn’t true bc I bought mine 8 months in advance)… but my fiancé stood up for me and goes “yeah and you flipped the absolute fuck out on everyone about it!!”…. (Implying that I’ve been nothing but understanding and nice to everyone about this situation)

She got pissed and I kid you NOT, goes, “well I was aloud to be upset because it was MY wedding”…. Yes… you read that right!!!….. we literally were speechless and just looked at her like 😐😐😐

She then got up and stormed out of the room crying and saying to just kick her out of the wedding “for all she cares” and I kid you not goes, “she (me) ruined her dress right before my wedding but god forbid I don’t have mine yet!”

I didn’t ruin my dress 😑 there was a penny sized sun spot on the side of the dress that she never would have even noticed but I decided to do the right thing and tell her and she was so mad at me that she was crying so had that she threw up!!!! Her mom then called me and told me i ruined her whole wedding!!!

This happened 4 years ago by the way and she’s using it as an excuse as to why it’s okay that she doesn’t have her dress…. And I wouldn’t even be so stressed about it if it wasn’t for the fact that we’re coming up on the busiest time of the fucking year!!!

I could write PARAGRAPHS about this sister of his and all the drama she has caused with this wedding planning

At this point I really am contempt with her not being in the wedding but my fiancés parents would KILL ME 😭

How wrong would I be to text the bridesmaids in a group chat and tell them that they don’t have to have their dresses in hand, but if they don’t at least have them BOUGHT by December 1st then they will be attending the wedding as a guest???

I knew wedding planning would be hard but honestly it is NOTHING compared to the drama and stupid shit you have to deal with!!!!
