Supplements for Stage 4 Lymphoma

Hi all,

So my doggy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma on Wednesday (so it's spread to the bone marrow IE Leukemia). She is subgroup A which means she is feeling GOOD.

I had no clue she was sick. I took her to the vet because her neck and face has swelled up the week prior, I assumed it was a bee sting, the face swelling went down but her neck didn't. I wouldn't have known she was sick if that happened. Running around, barking, etc.

She started on the COP protocol yesterday- Prednisone, Chlorambucil and Vincristine. She also has a little suspension for gastro but so far so good. In fact she even stole a steak off the table last night. First time in her life, little sneaky.

Anyway. I researched my ASS off today on how I can supplement her through this journey because I know this is not curable, just treatable. But I want her to be happy and pain free for as long as possible.

Of course I will be discussing all these with her vet at her next appointment but in the meantime, it seems like the below are the best:

Turmeric (will definitely bring this up with the vet because while research has shown it supports and boosts the efficacy of Vincristine, but when used in conjunction with Chlorambucil in mice it greatly reduced efficacy). But if all else fails I can use it after her chemo.

Omega 3 (to help balance out the extra Omega 6 from all the extra protein she needs to eat now)

Spirulina (immune support - although it's recommended to avoid for other cancers, for Lymphoma it's recommended but it may interact with Prednisone)

Reishi Mushrooms (this is one of the safe mushrooms for dogs, couldn't find any supporting literature citing it shouldn't be used with chemo)

Ginger (for any nausea she may experience, also it is high in anti oxidants)

Chia seeds (also an antioxidant)

Probiotics (as all the meds can cause stomach upsets)

CBD Oil (also for nausea, to help maintain her appetite, also various studies have shown CBD helps suppress cancer cell growth)

Then there are some others but I'm not sure for various reasons:

Quinoa - obviously high in anti oxidants but they are a high carb food product which we need to stay away from

Green Tea Extract - OK so a study showed that patients on Vincristine, when taking curcumin later followed by green tea extract, it make a big difference but another study showed green tea extract lessened cancer cell sensitivity to chemo, lessening it's efficacy.

I'm not sure if I'm missing anything... But do you think this is enough?

@thank you Ali. For a lot of these you get animal grade / specially made for animals because I know dosage is a concern as well. The Omega 3 and Spirulina I ordered today (I will only start the Spirulina with clearance from the vet) are made specifically for pets. I've read about how much of everything is safe for dogs, so I hope the vet gives approval to proceed! As for food, she's still on her dog food tin and I'm mixing chicken livers and other gross (to me) stuff in to her morning and lunchtime small meals. Her dinner can stay the same I think. I've also hardboiled eggs to add and tomorrow will go out to get some extra veggies, namely sweet potato (I gave her the last one today), potato, cauliflower and broccoli.
