EBF mamas — have you gotten your period yet?

How was it? Duration? Symptoms?

My lochia ended at 4 weeks PP, yesterday ( exactly 7 weeks PP ) I started with cramps and other PMS symptoms so I'm pretty sure my period is coming!

I got mine at 6 weeks post on the dot with both. I was not EBF my son. My daughter is EBF but she has been sleeping 4-5 hour stretches for about 2 weeks now and I’m on day 4 of my period. Darn it lol. It hasn’t been too bad, no cramping or anything and it’s not any heavier than my periods used to be. My biggest concern at this point is it seems that my milk supply is less than it has been since a few days before starting, and my daughter is really fussy at my boob right now, not eating for as long as she has been. I’ve read that supply can decrease and taste of milk can change during your period so I’m hoping that’s all it is and it will go back to normal soon.

Not yet.  I got them back at around 3m pp with both of my previous kids.

With my first baby I didn’t get it back until she self weaned at 13.5 months. 2nd baby I got it back at 10months when she started sleeping through the night occasionally and I quit getting up to pump at midnight. Hoping I don’t get it back until a year  this time bc it really dropped my supply when I had it with her🤞🏻

I didn’t get my period with my last pregnancy until my son was 16 months old. Hoping I get to go as long without it this time too.

Really heavy and I couldn’t tell the difference between that and lochia, I had a midwife at triage confirm it was my period due to the heaviness scaring me
