I got two teeth pulled around 9:30am today.

I have had very minimal sleep the last three weeks because of those two teeth. Literally waking every hour or two from the pain. Felt like needles and shards of glass throughout my jaw, neck, and ear. I’m so glad I was finally able to get them pulled 🥹

With the lack of sleep, I would very much love to take a nap, but I didn’t know if I should wait or what. I know I’m supposed to keep my head elevated when I sleep, but what about the gauze? Is it ok to take it out for a bit, or will that cause more bleeding?

I did take out the first set of gauze about 30 minutes ago at around 1pm, so I could finally eat.

My gums hurt where the stitches are, but not at all as much pain the teeth were causing.
