I am 8 days late today. I was spotting off and on for three days with pinkish/red blood (not enough to show on a pad) and now the past five days I have had dark brown spotting (enough to be on a pad but barely). My period has still not fully started. I have had mild cramping off and on for the past week on my right side, but other than that I don’t feel any of my normal PMS symptoms. Normally my periods are super painful with heavy bleeding. I had unprotected sex during ovulation on November 6th. I’m at a loss. Will my period show up, or is something wrong ? I’m very regular and have never been more than two days late. This has never happened before. I took a test on 11/20 in the evening and it was negative. I have not tested since. Anyone else had this happen? If so, what was the outcome?
