I’ve always been one of those people that strictly buys from the baby registry/wedding registry. Sometimes I might add in an outfit for a baby gift or do cash instead of wedding registry gift.

My reasoning, especially for baby registries, I want the parents to have what they need and want for their baby. I don’t want to get them a receiving blanket when they have grandma making them one etc. I’m addition, parents have so much to worry about around the time they have a baby that having to run and make a million returns to get what they need doesn’t seem to be practical.

So my question, for those that won’t buy off the registry, why do you do it? Lol.

And I’m not talking about if someone can’t afford a gift, I’m talking the people who can and want to buy a gift but want to specifically get something THEY want to get rather than something the parents need.
