Anybody’s kids on here have RSV or have had it? What were the symptoms, how long did it last, did it require hospitalization, etc.

I suspect my child has it she’s 3 and she’s had a fever that went on for about 3 days then yesterday her fever disappeared but now she’s got a constant cough that got worse at night. She got to the point where she could not stop coughing. We gave her an inhaler and some honey and she calmed down and was able to sleep for the rest of the night but again today she’s coughing non stop. I keep seeing videos of kids in hospital with RSV and it scares me. So far she doesn’t seem like she’s struggling to breath other than when her coughing fit happened over night but that was more so she got panicky because she was coughing so much.

We have an outbreak of respiratory illness where I live and emerg wait times are about 14 hours at the moment so we’re hoping she can pull through this without having to visit the ER.
