So I’m day 3 of breastfeeding and I’m super engorged. He seems to latch and drain one breast decently but the other one he just nursed on for 30 mins and it still feels engorged. I hold my boob and squeeze it and a bunch of milk comes out so I do that during the feed and he sounds like he’s swallowing and getting some but I’m still left feeling full.

He has a high pallet and recessed chin, the nurse told me I might have some trouble getting a good latch. She was right. He hardly opens his mouth at all. I’m guessing the latch is to shallow but I’ve tried everything it seems and he still won’t open enough. I feel like I tried all the tips but nothing works. Day 3 do boobs just generally feel super full because milk is coming in even shortly after some feeds? Or do I have a problem?
