I hosted thanksgiving dinner at my house, I only invited my siblings, one lives in a different city and the other one a few blocks away, my brother lives far so I told him that when he comes back from work he can let me know so we can pick him up since he doesn’t have a car yet, dinner was at 6pm, since I was the one hosting, I made everything by myself, it was hard but I did it, well my sister came at 6:30pm and still no message from my brother, I was tired and starving at that time so we just begun eating, the next day I saw his message at 4pm saying he was off, I felt bad because I didn’t saw his message since I was busy taking care of the turkey and making my side dishes, I even asked my sister the same day if she got a message from him and she said no, I didn’t even check my phone because I was busy cooking and baking, I even told him the truth that I didn’t saw his message, I get a text from his gf saying why I didn’t even bother to call him if he was off or not, in my defense I told her I was busy cooking, and she said why even invite him if I wasn’t gonna check in him, honestly I feel bad it’s being days and I still feel like it was my fault, why didn’t he call, text are easy to miss but I don’t know, who is in the wrong here?
