Does the fetus come out whole during miscarriage? If it doesn’t at how many weeks would one be if I seen pieces I had few big clots and one I seen a small piece of the fetus why didn’t baby come out whole???

My first check up was measured a week behind I was 5w6d and then I got told I was having a threatened abortion at what I should of been 9w I should be 10 now I don’t get it.!
