My boyfriend texting a female coworker late at night

Hey y’all. So my boyfriend and I used to work together. He was a manager and I was a team member. My boyfriend texted my coworker one night at 1055pm asking if she was awake… She showed people at my work and everyone keeps asking why my boyfriend is texting this girl at 1055 pm.. this made me upset, but am I overreacting?
