onion in socks??

My 9 month old is sick, we go to the doctor tomorrow but I seen on facebook that onion in the socks help get rid of sickness?? I know not to believe everything I see especially facebook but it couldn’t hurt? Has anyone tried this before??

There’s no scientific research that proves it works. You’re just gonna make your kid’s feet stink.

No that's not true. Oxidation does not mean viruses or bacteria are being absorbed by the onion. Cook it and eat it as intended, but it won't cure anything.

No research backed or in any way scientific. I wouldn’t do it because it has zero benefit, and my cause skin irritation in addition to just being annoying. No one wants an onion on their foot all night

Just put it on the bedside table. 
I’d avoid putting it in a 9m old sock. My daughter definitely would’ve taken the sock off and tried to eat it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
