How different are you finding sizes?

My son is now in a size 1 (12-18) but some are a little small and I would like them to fit for a few months at least so now buying a size 2! Not really chubby but a long boy. 
How different do you find sizes? I usually buy online so just safest buying size 2 now.

Probably depends on what you’re buying. my son was over 28inches (71cm+) at his 6 month checkup and fits in 9 month clothes. He’s very long but the clothes still fit. 🤷🏼‍♀️ he needs longer pants but winter is here so we’re dressing in layers. His outer layer is 18 months to fit over the other clothes.

I’ve been so confused with his sizing his whole life 😅 the size charts do not match his measurements. I do not buy carters anymore for that reason. I like gerber or just random brands from Walmart or target. He has been wearing 18mo for a while now. Going to switch to 24 mo soon and after that 2t.

My baby girl is between 0-1 size clothes. She’s a little chubster but is Also quite long. She was 70cm at her 6month check up 🥰

The sizes have never been accurate for my LO, she's been a little peanut from day one. She's 7 months and just now starting to outgrow some of her 3-6 month clothes. My friend was the opposite, her daughter was in 2T before her first birthday, she was just a much bigger baby.
