I’ll try to keep this brief. My daughter did not have any sleep issues until September of this year (1 yr 9mo). Basically, she got super out of wack the week of my wedding and learned how to crawl out of her crib the same week. It has been a battle ever since. She screamed every single night from 7pm until at least 11pm (many nights it was longer and a few nights she didn’t fall asleep until 5-6am.) This went on for 2-3 weeks. We thought we got a routine figured out, but it only lasted about a week. From then on, it has been like this: 3-6 days of normal sleep followed by 1 week + of screaming for hours. The smallest of things throw her off again. Everything from having someone watch her for a few hours to just having a busy day. When she is in these episodes of screaming, nothing helps. We have tried more things than I can count. Some nights, the only way we can get even a few hours of sleep is if she falls asleep watching a movie. We plan to talk to her Dr next week at her 2 yr appointment but just wanted to see what other parents have to say, as I’m scared it will be dismissed as normal toddler behavior. TIA
