My son got his driver's permit. He's 15 almost 16. His dad agreed to take him driving BUT got called into work for a surgery. So I agreed to. We get in the car and I ask what's the first thing he does and he's already trying to start driving without checking any mirrors or putting on any seat belt. After he does those things he puts the car in drive not reverse and we almost run into the garage door. I wanted to get out the car but I decided let's keep trying. We are driving and coming up to a stop sign and he PRESSES THE GAS AND RUNS PAST THE STOP SIGH INTI A DITCH!!!! I was freaking and said you stop at a stop sign. You know what he said? I mixed up my gas and my go. YOUR GAS AND YOUR GO?! I said does he mean gas and his break and he thought about it for a moment and said "I think". So he's not ready to drive. We are going back to basics. Wish me luck. Hope I don't die.
