Braxton hicks? 35 weeks pregnant
First time mom and I’m exactly 35 weeks pregnant. I definitely just had some cramps on my lower left side under my belly ( I attached a picture and circled the area in black). It lasted maybe 5 minutes. I tried sitting, standing, and laying down /moving in different positions and no-matter what I did the cramping didn’t stop. At first I thought it was ligament pain, but then it turned into a whole cramp and I tried moving around thinking it would go away but it only got a little more intense, then less intense, then intense again, then less intense. After about 5 minutes of pain it finally went away and hasn’t came back since. I have a really bad pain tolerance so to me it hurt a lot.
Was that a Braxton hick? Dr told me Braxton hicks shouldn’t hurt and should feel like tightening, but contractions will definitely hurt and I won’t be able to talk through the pain. Moving won’t stop it, and they have to be consistent. I don’t think what I felt was a contraction tho. Like I said I have a really bad pain tolerance.
Btw, I just had a prenatal appointment today 5 hours ago and Dr. Checked me , baby, and vitals. Everything is 100% normal and said baby is head down . His head is on my lower RIGHT side, not my lower left which is where the cramping came from.
