Hello ftm here, my ebf baby hasn’t been eating well for around 5 days so I’m a little worried. He’s still fine in himself laughing and smiling and still has plenty of wet nappies but it is really difficult to feed especially in the day. He’s also getting worse at night now since discovering his shadow which is the new best thing to play with.

He keeps kicking off my leg to arch back and look around or cries or comes off and smiles at me then latches back on for a few sucks and does it again and the feed is only about 3 minutes in total. When he’s sat back up he seems happy again and I think it could be that feeding is now very boring when he could be bouncing or playing.

I have tried removing distractions by coming upstairs to a quieter environment, covering him so he can’t look around, switching positions and praising him when feeding but nothing seems to be working.

I have a call with the hv booked in and I’m hoping they can help but I’m just wondering if anyone else’s lo went through this?
