Newly diagnosed with PCOS

Hi everyone. My husband and I have just started to try to get pregnant. Yesterday I was unfortunately diagnosed with PCOS and my gynecologist recommended that I start on metformin. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? Were you able to conceive easily after being on it?
