IUI success after an IVF?

Question

Hello everyone! Does anyone at 41 years old had any success with IUI ?
I had one IVF that ended up a miscarriage a month ago.
I have three eggs and since I will ovuluate early my IVF has been cancelled and DR says he can do an IUI.
I want to ask if anyone had any success.

My girlfriend is 13 weeks pregnant after an iui at 41. First try. Go for it! You never know ☺️

I did my own IUI, got a kit online and got pregnant 3rd month. I'm 46 years old.

It’s a lot cheaper and I have friends in their 40’s that have had it and had a positive outcome! One friend got pregnant on the 5th IUI cycle and a few others on the first and second. 
If you can afford it it’s worth a shot!!!
Question…… why did your physician not try IUI prior to IVF!?! If you don’t know the answer then you definitely need to ask the physician not a nurse. Make the doctor give you an answer don’t let the doctor get off easy or not give you an answer. I’m a nurse and it definitely rubs me the wrong way that the doctor went straight into IVF and now that you can’t do IVF this cycle the doctor says, “do you want to try IUI?” As a clinical nurse it screams I just want to make money, being honest. IUI depending on the medications being used is around $800-$1200 a round and that’s paying in cash since most insurance companies don’t cover IVF and IUI… 
Please give an update! 
If IVF worked on the first try then I would try IUI. This has me fired up!!! IVF is very expensive and takes a toll on your body and mind! 
Anyone else think that this is strange??? If the physician had a problem with it in the beginning then why did it all the sudden change….

I think her Doctor should have started a natural start, then IUI and last sort would have been IVF, IVF is super expensive yes even if you have insurance. Cannot imagine without! But I pray that all goes well in the baby journey! ✨ I too and now on my 3 cycle IUI. Keeping fingers crossed! 
I have a 4 year old also was IUI. Waited 14 years! So don’t loose hope! I will definitely have you in my prayers!

Have you had a period since the miscarriage? I saw a previous post about a miscarriage around thanksgiving (a week ago)… 
Very sorry for your loss. I was there in May.. It took awhile to get my mental and emotional health back to “normal”. Also took awhile for me to pass everything and I didn’t get my period back for a month and a half after the miscarriage. I passed the rest on my own without meds 2 days before I was going in for the procedure. I saw your post regarding all this.
