When to tell hubby?

Question

I got my BFP today so I was either going to tell hubby on Friday when we have a date night planned (dinner and comedy show) or wait until Tuesday, which is St. Nicholas Day, and put it in his stocking?
I have a lottery scratch off where the prize says, “We’re having a baby!” plus the positive test in case he is dense and doesn’t get it lol.

I had a cute way planned and it went out the window the day I got a positive because I couldn’t hold it in 😂

My hubby announcement was me yelling “ Jesus Christ” in the bathroom when I saw the results. I walked out and he looked at me and said “you’re pregnant.” I handed him the test and he said “yeah that’s very positive.”
Let me add that we weren’t TTC and I have irregular periods so it was a complete surprise for me. Our youngest will be 1 Dec 14th.
