Michigan beaches? Any recommendations?

I am looking to take my family for a vacation to a Michigan “beach” next summer. We are looking to go in July. Does anyone have any recommendations? We are used to going to Florida beaches where they have hotels on the beach with pools. I’m sure Michigan is pretty different, but are there any areas sorta similar to that? Are the lake beaches similar to the beaches in the Carolinas? We will have a toddler and a baby so we are just mostly looking to relax and swim. Thanks!
